Italian Specialty Foods Market & Catering
is a direct descendant of
"Giovanni's Italian Market & Pasta Pantry"
that used to be in the
Allentown Fairgrounds Farmers Market
until May of 2002
and was owned & operated
by John & Rose Patti for over 20 years.

John & Rose retired in
2002 and they sold the business to a family member; it has
since passed out of their family as well and has gone
through a number of versions.
Rose unfortunately passed
away in June 2006, but John got together with his daughter
AnnMarie to start a new business -
Bella G's.
The name was easy to come
up with. "Bella" is the Italian word for "beautiful",
and both of AnnMarie's beautiful daughters (Gianna and
Gabrielle) have names that begin with "G".
John puts his 25+ years of
experience in the food industry to good use - every morning
he still makes the fresh mozzarella, the different varieties
of sausage and his amazing cannoli cream - all by hand.
